Alameda Dining Bench

Built for a family that needed more than everyday seating. Chairs work day to day, but when birthdays and dinner parties fill the room, this bench steps in as a flexible, beautiful option that fits the space and the people in it.

The client had a walnut dining table they loved and wanted something that matched it closely. We glued up a solid Alder panel, cut mortise and tenon joints throughout, and ran multiple rounds of color samples until the stain held true in the natural light of their home. Not just in the shop. Colors change between spaces, and getting it right takes the kind of hands-on process you only get when something is built specifically for you.

Gently tapered legs. Z-clip top attachment for seasonal wood movement. Finished with a durable water-based topcoat built for real daily use.
