This wall rack was built for a kids' room where backpacks, winter coats, and towels needed somewhere to actually stay put. A previous off-the-shelf rack didn't hold up to daily use, so this one was built from solid Oregon walnut with generously rounded edges and sturdy double hooks rated for real weight, not just decoration.

The design stays simple on purpose. One substantial piece of hardwood, shaped and finished by hand, paired with hardware chosen for strength over polish. The result feels more like a small piece of furniture than something screwed to the wall.

It's still holding everything the kids hang on it, every single day.
